Dictate naturally: filler words and slips
Speak to ParusVoice the way you would tell someone a message. ParusVoice removes filler words, smooths over broken-off sentence starts, applies your corrections and adds punctuation. What you say stays unchanged.
An example
| You say | The text reads |
|---|---|
| “Hi Lea, uh, the meeting is at ten, no, at eleven.” | Hi Lea, the meeting is at eleven. |
| “So I wanted, we should have the report done by Friday.” | We should have the report done by Friday. |
The exact wording depends on your dictation. The examples show what happens to a filler word, a restart and a correction.
Just correct yourself as you speak
You don’t need a command for this. Say “no”, “I mean” or start over, and ParusVoice uses the corrected version. Short pauses to think are no problem.
ParusVoice adds punctuation itself
Commas, periods and question marks come from your sentence. To set a spot yourself, speak the mark, such as “colon” or “new paragraph”. Spoken marks always take priority. All commands are in Punctuation, paragraphs and commands while dictating.
Reshape a text
If you want a shorter or more formal version of your dictation, select the text afterwards and ask the assistant. That’s a separate step, see Shorten, rephrase or turn text into a list.
