Doesn’t Claude Code have voice input?
It does. Claude Code has built-in dictation for the command line and the VS Code extension. It needs a Claude.ai login and doesn’t work with an API key, over SSH or in remote sessions.
Dictation writes your prompt. ParusVoice handles the way back: it reads out what Claude Code asks or has finished, takes your spoken reply and sends it to the same session. This also works across several sessions.

Hear questions and results
When Claude Code asks a question or finishes a task, ParusVoice reads it aloud, as a short summary for long replies. “More” reads the detailed version, “Repeat” the last message.
Reply by voice
After a question, ParusVoice listens. Speak your answer and say “Send”. It goes to the same session, even when another window is in front.
Approvals by voice
When Claude Code wants to run a command or change a file, ParusVoice reads the request aloud. Decide with “Allow” or “Deny”. The request also appears in the panel.
Several sessions, one panel
The agent panel collects messages from every running session, including Codex and Grok. ParusVoice says the session name before each message.
Prompts in any text field
Regular ParusVoice dictation writes into the terminal, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop and your browser. It removes filler words and slips before inserting.
Over 60 languages, mixed
Speak your own language and name functions, commands and libraries in English. ParusVoice recognizes both in the same sentence. Add project names to your dictionary once.

Turn on agent mode
In ParusVoice, open “Settings” > “Agent mode” and use the “Turn on agent mode” switch. ParusVoice installs its plugin through Claude Code’s plugin manager.
Restart the session
Restart running Claude Code sessions once. They load the integration on start. Settings show the status.
Turn on voice mode
Turn on “Voice mode” in the agent panel. From then on, ParusVoice reads aloud and listens after a question.
